Maritime History Program

A new educational program about maritime history has been created for the Mission-Aransas NERR. The maritime history tour has been utilized for teacher training and Elderhostel fieldtrips. It involves a historical boat tour through Aransas and Copano Bay. The tour visits the historical towns of Old El Cópano and Saint Mary’s, which are located on shoreline of Copano Bay.
