Pond 14: = 20,000 cells per ml

Pond 24: = 85,000 cells per ml

Pump Intake (Laguna Madre): = 1, 220,000 cells per ml

31 May 2005: Brown Tide reported in canals in Flour Bluff, counts by Ralph Geckle on 3 June 2005 indicate 1.92 -2.09 million cells per ml.

1 June 2005. The species-specific antibody test confirms that the dominant organism is Aureoumbra lagunensis - the Texas Brown Tide species.

9 June 2005. Another transect is conducted in teh Upper Laguna Madre. Reports continue to come in of pinkish water and dense blooms in Flour Bluff.
