Organization and Expectations

Students grades are based on class participation, a lecture, a term paper, and an in-class presentation of the student's term paper.  Each student will select a topic from the Topics Outline (chapters in Text plus) and prepare a one hour Power Point lecture to be presented to the class. All students should read the chapter or relevant papers before the lecture and be prepared to comment or discuss issues. In addition a term paper on some area of larval fish research (discuss the subject with me) using current literature and  web resources will be due the last week of class. The goal is to prepare a written (and linked) paper on the web and to give a 20 minute presentation to the class.
