Cheryl Park's article, "This is how it's done...", in the Port Aransas South Jetty, March 17, 2005. A field trip to San Jose Island was made to measure water properties and monitor point sources of marine debris.

GK-12 Teacher Workshop, "Teachers Learn Via Land and Air", in the Port Aransas South Jetty, February 3, 2005. GK-12 teachers from Port Aransas and Flour Bluff schools spent a day in the field learning about erosion in South Texas. They were taught how to measure beach topography and then taken on an aerial geology survey in small planes from Port Aransas to Matagorda Bay.
