This course focuses on the ecology of Caribbean coral reef, seagrass, and mangrove communities of the Yucatan Peninsula with special emphasis on marine vegetation.

 

 

  An estimated maximum enrollment fee of $2,000 is required to cover local transportation, room, board, and other course expenses at our field site in Mexico. Additional costs include  travel to Cancun.  This popular course was first offered in 2005 (www.utmsi.utexas.edu/staff/dunton/mexico2005.htm).

 

Students need to register for Maymester courses in November 2006, since credit for these courses is obtained during the Spring semester.
