They include global maps of monthly averages of just about everything discussed in the September 7 lecture. NASA's Earth Observatory has all sorts of data and images available. The December 1992 maps of temperature and precipitation came from the chart on this page. More precipitation maps are available at the Global Precipitation Climatology Project page.
