Summer Science Registration Is Open

UT Summer Science is an exciting, inquiry-based learning experience for students entering 3rd through 8th grade.

Working alongside marine scientists from the University of Texas, students will experience science outside of the classroom. By the end of the program, students will gain a deep personal appreciation for the marine environment, become aware of local and global threats, learn to solve complex problems using the scientific method and understand what it truly means to be a scientist.

WHO:   3rd - 4th grade students in the 2020/2021 school year: $100/week. Meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

5th - 6th grade students in the 2020/2021 school year: $100/week. Meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

7th - 8th grade students in the 2020/2021 school year: $100/week. Meets from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

WHEN: 

Ocean Quest June 1-5 & June 15-19

Explorations of our oceans and coastal environments. 

Seas the Day!  June 8-12 & June 22-26                                                                                            

Adventures exploring and studying marine science.

 

REGISTRATION

Registration for our ACA accredited program includes the following:

-Full week (Monday-Friday) of half-day programming for your young scientist

-Unique experience working alongside scientists in the community

-Curricula designed by qualified education staff on site

-All necessary resources and supplies for programming

-2020 Summer Science t-shirt

-Peanut free snacks
